Uncork-it brand refresh and website

Client:

Uncork-it, Inc.

The brand

The marketing and advertising agency Uncork-it, Inc. began offering virtual experiences (think video chat meets video games) and instantly found success crafting virtual spaces for conferences, offsites, and more. This success prompted a brand refresh and a new website to match.

We softened corners, introduced a revised color palette, and used organic, moving shapes to create a calm, sophisticated look. We also added a serif typeface for primary headlines to help break away from the heavier geometric style used previously.

For video content, we applied the new brand to create a new motion package enhanced with snappy animation, customizable moving backgrounds, and powerful opening and closing bumpers.

The website

Working closely with the dev team (and developing some aspects myself), we explored and researched the best strategy for building the new site. We ultimately decided to create a static site using a combination of modern web frameworks: Astro and Tailwind.

This ensured a snappy, compelling experience with faster load times than the previous site. Switching our CSS framework to Tailwind also helped save time during site updates, enabling us to quickly build landing pages, limited-time home page refreshes, and more.
