To help bolster their online presence and bring attention to their speech therapy program, the nonprofit Parkinson Voice Project wanted a set of videos highlighting their singing group called “The Intentional Singers.”
Through daily therapy focused on intentional speech, Parkinson Voice Project helps people with Parkinson’s and related neurological disorders improve and retain their speech. “The Intentional Singers” consists of graduates of Parkinson Voice Project’s speech therapy program.
For this project, I directed the visual style for multiple video shoots, including capture for rehearsals, recitals, and interviews. After the shoots, I directed the vendor through the editing process and took over editing duties for the final cut.
The video won 4 awards, including a Communicator Gold award, a Telly Silver award, and it won Best in Digital and a Gold award from the regional AAF.
